Let’s talk about your concert.

Organ recitals, concerts with orchestra, basso continuo. Tell us about the instrument, the hall and the occasion: the programme is built from there.

Write to Mario Ciferri ciferri.mario@gmail.com

Enquiries are handled by e-mail: it is the clearest way to define date, instrument and programme together. Mario plays pipe organs exclusively.

To prepare the proposal

Four things are enough to begin.

There is no need for a defined project: even just an idea is a good starting point. Rehearsals take from two or three hours to a full day, depending on the instrument and the programme. Programme, curriculum and photographs are supplied for promotion; printing and distribution are the organiser’s responsibility.

  1. Date and place

When and where the concert will take place, and whether the date is already fixed or still to be agreed.

  2. The instrument

A pipe organ: builder, number of manuals and stops, state of maintenance. The technical specification with the stoplist makes it possible to choose the programme; a photograph of the console helps.

  3. The type of evening

Solo recital, organ and orchestra, Baroque ensemble with basso continuo, an appointment in a festival or a season.

  4. The context

The expected audience, free or paid admission, hospitality terms. This is the information that makes it possible to reply with a concrete proposal.

For those who write

Everyone finds their own material.

Organisers

Concert seasons, festivals, parishes and associations. The repertoire runs from the Renaissance to the twentieth century; the programme is adapted to the instrument and the acoustics of the hall.

Press and media

The Press Kit and the PDF curriculum gather biography, repertoire and verified data. Photographs and videos are in the gallery.

Institutions and schools

On request, in Italian: lectures and talks on the history of the organ and its repertoire, to bring new audiences closer to the instrument.
